About these terms
These terms apply when you use hendwerkes.com and buy from Hendwerkes. By placing an order you agree to them, together with our Shipping & Duties, Returns & Warranty, Refund, Privacy and Cookie policies.
Handmade pieces
Every piece is made by hand from natural leather. Colour, grain, stitching and small marks vary from piece to piece and may differ slightly from the photos — that is the nature of handmade work, not a fault.
- Limited editions are made in a fixed, numbered run; the number shown is the piece you receive.
- Made-to-order pieces are started after you order; the making time is shown on the product page.
- Personalised pieces are stamped exactly as you type the text; please check spelling before ordering.
- Artisan Seconds are sold as described in their condition note and photo.
Prices and currencies
Prices are set in Indian rupees and shown in your chosen currency at our current exchange rate. The total you pay — including shipping and any duties or taxes we collect — is shown at checkout before payment, in the currency you will be charged. If a price is shown wrongly because of an obvious error, we will contact you before shipping and you may cancel for a full refund.
Orders and payment
Payments are processed securely by Razorpay or PayPal. An order is confirmed only when the payment provider confirms the payment, and we e-mail you a confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order if a piece is no longer available, a payment is suspected to be fraudulent, or we cannot deliver to the address given; any payment is then refunded in full.
Discounts and gift cards
Discount codes are subject to the conditions shown with them (dates, minimum spend, countries, one per order unless stated) and have no cash value. Gift cards can be used on any order until their expiry date, cannot be exchanged for cash, and should be kept safe like cash.
Reviews and photos you send us
When you post a review or submit a photo to our Family Album, you confirm it is yours and give Hendwerkes permission to show it on our website and social channels, with your first name and country. We may decline or remove content that is offensive, unrelated or not genuine.
Our content
The text, photographs, designs and the Hendwerkes name and mark on this website belong to Hendwerkes and may not be copied without our permission.
Liability
We are responsible for the products we sell as described in these terms and as required by the law of your country. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you buy as a consumer outside India, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country.
